Department – Unit: Authorizations, Fraud & Chargeback

Responsibilities

The position is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire Chargeback Unit, both the issuing and acquiring business. The officer will be responsible for ensuring that all cardholders’ complaints on questionable, unrecognized and unauthorized transactions are properly investigated, resolved efficiently and processed accurately based on the VISA and Mastercard guidelines. The position will likewise be responsible for the end to end processing of the disputes in coordination with the cardholders, merchants, issuing and acquiring banks and the scheme.

Span of Control

With direct reports: Chargeback Officer & Chargeback Processors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a college or university.
• Has at least four years of work related experience in chargeback or dispute resolution.
• Has In depth knowledge of PRIME or similar applications and different segments of the credit card business
• Has at least 3 years people management experience. Preferably in Credit set up.
• Must be familiar with MS Word, Excel and Powepoint.
