Department – Unit: Marketing & Service Quality
Responsibilities
The jobholder is responsible for developing and managing marketing programs intended to grow his/her assigned product or service. He should implement programs and enhancements to achieve targets related to the merchant affiliation, retail billings, attrition and activation of products/services handled. Jobholder must possess necessary skills to apply relevant market, industry and consumer insights in developing effective campaigns and address current and unforeseen customer needs. He should be up to date with competitor trends and practices and effectively respond with counter measures to maintain competitive advantage vs. other issuers.
The jobholder should ensure that performance monitoring and profitability measures are in place.
Span of Control
Direct – No Direct Reports
Indirect – Marketing Support staff, Third Party Agencies and merchants
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree from a college/university and preferably a graduate of a business course
- With one (1) to two (2) years of work experience in Marketing and/or Business Development or Business Analytics, in an officer/managerial level
- Has broad understanding of the different areas of the credit card business and the capacity to relate unit’s operations and performance metrics to the overall business of the company
- Possess strong inter-personal skills
- Has strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- With knowledge in preparing communication and creative briefs and possess learning capability to prepare and analyze reports for marketing programs
